Meet Sean McMahon, a Talented 15-Year-Old Lacrosse Player

The Signature Sold Team is proud to support Sean McMahon, a talented 15-year-old Lacrosse player from Collingwood. Sean competed in the Alumni Cup which was a huge success for him and his team as they brought back gold medals to Ontario! We had the pleasure of interviewing Sean just before he took off for the Alumni Cup in Kelowna:

I am a multi-sport athlete and turned my focus to Lacrosse, Canada’s national summer sport. Lacrosse is a fast and physical sport, that’s why I like to play. I started playing box lacrosse in Stayner when I was 9. The next year I was introduced to field lacrosse and started travelling to the US to compete at the highest level. I play club field lacrosse with Edge Lacrosse an elite program in Ontario. My team travels to the US for 8-10 tournaments each year, competing against some of the best teams in North America. My team is currently ranked 5th in North America.

This year I was selected by Team Ontario U15 field lacrosse team, to compete for a national championship in Kelowna, BC from Aug 30-Sept 1/19. I am very excited to represent my province and to showcase my skills on a national level. Hoping to bring back a gold medal to Ontario.

My goal in Lacrosse is to earn an NCAA scholarship for academics and athletics, to play Lacrosse at a Division I school in the US.

I enjoy math and science classes at school, and I am 91% student academically.
